Author and Illustrator
Lynn Schulman George loves to paint and write about nature, animals and the human experience with a little bit of whimsy thrown in. In 2021, she began creating original, hand-painted watercolor and pen mandala cards. She also authored and illustrated her first book, Kaleidoscope Hope. Through her artwork, she hopes to spread love, hope and kindness throughout the world.
Lynn has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Minnesota and a certificate to interpret for the deaf. In 2024, she retired from being a project manager for the Multnomah County Health Department. During her 26+ year career working in public and community health, she has been published in the Journal of Environmental Health and her work has received the NACHO Model Practice, NEHA Innovation Practice, EPA Exemplary Practice, and the Samuel J. Crumbine awards. She was born and raised in Menomonie, Wisconsin and currently lives in Portland, Oregon.
